About Dr. Juan Luis Castro

Psychiatrist · Writer · Storyteller

I’m a psychiatrist and educator who believes that stories are one of the most powerful ways humans learn, heal, and make sense of life. My work brings psychology and storytelling together to help people understand emotions, relationships, identity, and meaning.

Why Stories

In clinical work and in life, I’ve seen that people don’t change only through information — they change through insight, reflection, and emotional truth. Stories allow us to recognize ourselves without feeling judged. Therapy by Stories is my way of creating that space: real-life themes, told through narrative, followed by thoughtful psychological commentary.
